Our current desktop web design has several issues: it is not a good use of horizontal space, the hierarchy is poorly laid out, and there are lots of important links that are hidden behind menus and submenus. The goal with this solution is the use a sidebar to make better use of space and to highlight key areas of the app, as well as to streamline the content area so that it focuses better on… well, content.
Our current web architecture would make this a challenge to implement, but it might yet see the light of day in 2021.
